PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental prosthesis manufacturing support device and a method for manufacturing a dental prosthesis, allowing easy comparison between a sample and the dental prosthesis, and allowing manufacturing of the dental prosthesis having an optimum color tone without sufficiently acquiring a change of a color tone by an appliance even if interposing the appliance so as to provide information of a state inside an oral cavity of a patient to a dental technician from a dentist .SOLUTION: A dental prosthesis manufacturing support device includes: a photographing device occasionally photographing a state of a manufacturing process of a dental prosthesis manufactured based on sample image data created by photographing the inside of an oral cavity of a patient and a monitor showing an image of the dental prosthesis stored in manufacturing image data created by the photographing device such that the image can be compared with an image of tooth stored in the sample image data.
