PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an operation for removing a seal member from a plug body of a food and drink container.SOLUTION: By an engaging part 17 provided in a plug body 10, the position of a seal member 11 is set at a fitting position that is required for close contact with an inner periphery 5 of an opening 4 of a container body 1. The engaging part 17 is designed to have a shape that can release the seal member 11 from the fitting position in the removing direction. By a movable part 19 provided in the plug body 10, the seal member 11 is restricted at the fitting position. Further, by an operation of linearly moving an operation part 20 provided in the plug body 10, the restriction of the movable part 19 is made releasable. As a result, a user can release the restriction of the movable part 19 with one hand holding an annular part 12 of the plug body 10, and can easily separate the plug body 10 from the seal member 11.
