PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brain switching control method which enables switching operation in a short time, without requiring user training for associating a change in the brain wave with the switch.SOLUTION: Until an identifier is output, the method performs repeated execution of a stimulus presentation step of presenting a first stimulus indicative of the start of operation to select a certain switch and a second stimulus indicative of the completion of the selection operation to a user a brain wave measurement step of observing a potential change in the user brain relative to the first stimulus and the second stimulus a switch selection step of outputting the switch identifier, corresponding to the first stimulus and the second stimulus by letting the potential of the user brain at the time of the first stimulus presentation to be a reference potential, and a value obtained by subtracting from the reference potential the potential of the user brain at each time after the first stimulus presentation time to be an amplitude, when the amplitude is shifted to the negative during from the first stimulus presentation time to the second stimulus presentation time and the amplitude is shifted to the positive within a predetermined time from the second stimulus presentation time.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】ユーザが脳波の変化とスイッチの対応付けを行うためのトレーニングを行う必要が無く、かつ短時間でスイッチ操作が可能な脳波スイッチの制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】或るスイッチの選択操作開始を示す第1刺激と選択操作終了を示す第2刺激をユーザに提示する刺激提示ステップと、第1刺激と第2刺激に対するユーザの脳の電位の変化を観測する脳波計測ステップと、第1刺激の提示時刻でのユーザの脳の電位を基準電位とし、基準電位から第1刺激の提示時刻以降の各時刻のユーザの脳の電位を減じた値を振幅として、第1刺激の提示時刻から第2刺激の提示時刻までの間に振幅が負に遷移し、かつ、第2刺激の提示時刻から所定の時間内に振幅が正に遷移した場合に、当該第1刺激と当該第2刺激に対応するスイッチの識別子を出力するスイッチ選択ステップと、を識別子が出力されるまで繰り返し実行する。【選択図】図1
