PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle cap capable of safely housing a needle part of a syringe needle and preventing the needle part from unexpectedly sticking out after being housed.SOLUTION: A medical needle having a needle tip and a needle base, is fitted into the needle cap from a side. The needle cap includes an inner barrel and an outer barrel. Openings for housing at least part of the needle tip and needle base are formed in the inner barrel and outer barrel. With this structure, by moving the outer barrel of the cap after inserting a syringe needle assembly into the cap, the opening of the inner barrel is closed with the syringe needle assembly in a housed state. The needle does not stick out with a pressure such that the cap or an indwelling needle is not destroyed, even if unexpected pressure is applied in this state.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】安全に注射針の針部を収納でき、収納後の予期しない針部の飛び出しを防ぐ針キャップを提供する。【解決手段】本発明の針キャップは、針先と針基を有する医療用針を側方より嵌着する。針キャップは内筒と外筒を備え、内筒および外筒には、針先および針基の少なくとも一部を収容するための開口部が形成されている。これにより、注射針組立体をキャップに挿入後キャップ外筒を可動させることにより、内筒の開口部が閉鎖され、注射針組立体が収納された状態となる。この状態では予期しない押圧がかかったとしても、キャップもしくは留置針が破壊されない程度の押圧であれば針部が飛び出すことはない。【選択図】 図3
