An agricultural rock collection and rock rowing machine and method isdisclosed forcollecting rocks in fields and then for dumping these rocks in a row foreasier pickup or forstorage. The machine includes one or more rock collectors for receiving rocksalong withsoil, smaller rocks and field debris that may accompany the rocks, and forscreening out soil,field debris and smaller rocks that are small enough to pass through gapsbetween the gratesof the rock collectors. The machine also includes rock lifter plates thatassist the lifting ofrocks from the field up onto the rock collectors for screening and collection.A furtherembodiment of the machine includes a rock collector unloader mechanism forraising therock collectors thereby unloading the collected rocks roughly in rows. Theserows may beformed off the field, or picked up more easily by hand or with a conventionalrow-collectingrock picker, and then removed from the field. The rock collector unloadermechanism maybe attached to a trailer frame portion of the machine, the trailer frameserving to pull the rockcollectors when the trailer frame is attached to a tractor or suitable pullingmachine.
