A device for supporting a patient, the device comprising first and second support members adapted to support respective first and second parts of a patients body and being operable to move between a first configuration and a second configuration, wherein when a patient is supported by the device and the device is in the first configuration, the patient is in a first bodily position and is supported by the first support member, with little or none of the patients weight being supported by the second support member, and when a patient is supported by the device and the device is in the second configuration, the patient is in a second bodily position and is supported by the second support member, with little or none of the patients weight being supported by the first support member.Linvention concerne un dispositif de support de patient, le dispositif comportant un premier organe de support et un deuxième organe de support adaptés pour supporter une première partie et une deuxième partie respectives du corps dun patient, et fonctionnant pour se déplacer entre une première configuration et une deuxième configuration quand un patient est supporté par le dispositif et que le dispositif est dans la première configuration, le patient est dans une première position corporelle et est supporté par le premier organe de support, le poids du patient nétant que faiblement ou pas du tout supporté par le deuxième organe de support, et quand un patient est supporté par le dispositif et que le dispositif est dans la deuxième configuration, le patient est dans une deuxième position corporelle et est supporté par le deuxième organe de support, le poids du patient nétant que faiblement ou pas du tout supporté par le premier organe de support.
