PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper making discoloration of a urination indicator clearly visible from the outside to allow appropriate determination of a replacement time.SOLUTION: The disposable diaper 10 includes the urination indicator 20 whose color changes in contact with urine, between an absorber 16 and a rear face sheet 12. An outer layer nonwoven fabric 13 is laminated on the outer surface of the rear face sheet 12. A portion overlapping with the urination indicator 20 out of the outer layer nonwoven fabric 13 is compacted to make transparency higher than that of other parts.
