The present invention relates to a method for modulating the enzymatic activity of an enzyme, wherein said enzyme interacts with BMP, said method comprising the step of administering or inducing Hsp70, or a functional fragment or variant thereof, in a form suitable to allow the interaction between BMP and Hsp70, or said functional fragment or variant thereof, and thus modulate the enzymatic activity of an enzyme that interacts with BMP.a presente invenção diz respeito a um método para modular a atividade enzimática de uma enzima, em que a dita enzima interage com bmp, o dito método compreendendo a etapa de administrar ou induzir hsp70, ou um fragmento funcional ou variante do mesmo, em uma forma adequada para permitir a interação entre bmp e hsp70, ou o dito fragmento funcional ou variante do mesmo, e deste modo, modular a atividade enzimática de uma enzima que interage com bmp.
