<;P>;PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion generating device for increasing the amount of discharge of ions. <;P>;SOLUTION: An ion generating part 95 for generating a negative ion is arranged at a position deviated from the ventilation route 96 of air flowing in a flow passage 81, and an ion generating chamber 91 with the ion generating part 95 arranged therein communicates with the flow passage 81 via a communication part 121.
