PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily grasp the spatial position relation between an area of concern and structures around it while suppressing the radiation exposure dose of a subject.SOLUTION: A radiation image photographing system includes a radiation image photographing part that photographs a radiation image shown by a radiation transmitting through a subject. It is configured to set a moving area in the subject as an area of concern and to execute still image photographing executed by irradiating a radiation to a photographing target area including the area of concern (S202) and moving image photographing executed by irradiating a radiation only to the area of concern (S204-S212). It is configured to control such that, when the position of the area of concern approaches the edge of the photographing target area during moving image photographing after the still image photographing, the still image photographing is executed by moving the position of the photographing target area so that the area of concern is moved away from the edge in the photographing target area (S218-S220).
