The present invention relates to a thread for plastic surgery. The thread, able to be inserted in skin tissue of a human body for plastic surgery, comprises: a thread body which extends in a lengthwise direction and a plurality of protrusions which are arranged on the thread body while the protrusions are separated at predetermined intervals in the lengthwise direction of the thread body. The protrusion has at least a portion, joined to the thread body, of an outline of a lower side and has a pair of cones which are arranged to be symmetrical with respect to the lengthwise direction, as a center, of the thread body. According to the present invention, the protrusions are tightly joined to the skin tissue after the protrusions are inserted into skin.
