In one case, the housing is made of cardboard. The cardboard is laminated sheets cut into different shapes. In one case, there is a bowl section and a cylindrical section affixed to an interior of the bowl section. The track is formed between the edge of the cylindrical section and a wall of the bowl section. The wobbly shape of the cat scratch toy along with the ball in the track keeps the cat endlessly entertained, while satisfying the cat's need to scratch.
