Provided are a deodorant composition that can dramatically improve the remaining performance of a bactericide on an application object after application and a deodorant product comprising the deodorant composition. The deodorant composition according to the present invention comprises ethanol, a bactericide, a hydrophobized hydroxyalkyl cellulose, and an ester compound having a molecular weight of 150 or more； and the deodorant product according to the present invention comprises a container and the deodorant composition filled in the container.
