<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide (1) a fractionation apparatus for easily and rapidly fractionating an objective solute with small inclusion of foreign matters in the solution obtained from a stock solution and small contamination to the outside of a system using a solution containing a living component such as a protein as the stock solution, and (2) a method and an apparatus for fractionating a living component comprising effectively removing a high molecular weight protein contained in the solution containing a living component and recovering a low molecular weight protein in a high recovery rate. <；P>；SOLUTION: There is provided a cartridge for the fractionation apparatus in which fractionation operation for a next sample can be easily started by compactly housing a membrane fractionation system in a cartridge removable to a liquid feed pump rotor, and a high molecular weight protein such as albumin can be easily and effectively separated from the stock solution, particularly a body fluid including blood plasma while preventing contamination and biohazard of an analytical specimen (a liquid recovered in the fractionation apparatus) to recover a low molecular weight protein in a high recovery rate. <；P>；COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
