PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aerosol insecticide in which LPG is used as the propellant and that can satisfactorily inject methoxadiazone.SOLUTION: Provided is an aerosol insecticide containing methoxadiazone (A) by 0.5 mass% or more, propylene carbonate (B), monohydric alcohol of 1 to 5 carbon atoms (C), and liquid petroleum gas (D), wherein the mass ratio represented by the (B) component/the (A) component is 1.0 or more, the mass ratio represented by the (C) component/the (B) component is 2.0 or more, and the mass ratio represented by the (D) component/{the (B) component + the (C) component} is 0.5 to 2.0.
