Disclosed is a foot plate to aid in the securement of an orthosis to a limb of a wearer. The foot plate may include a bottom member to be disposed along part of an underside of the wearers foot and two attachment members to extend upwardly along the lateral and medial sides of the wearers ankle to facilitate attachment of an orthosis thereto. The present general inventive concept enables wearers to limit the movement of an orthosis along the wearers limb while also providing increased comfort to the foot and ankle of the wearer.
