PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods for detecting, diagnosing, monitoring and prognosticating prostate cancer.SOLUTION: A diagnosis kit comprising a reagent to detect the expression level of phosphodiesterase 4D7 (PDE4D7) which is used as a marker for diagnosing, detecting, monitoring or prognosticating prostate cancer or the progression of prostate cancer. A diagnosing kit in which PDE4D7 is used as a marker for discriminating hormone sensitive prostate cancer and hormone refractory prostate cancer.
