PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide plastic confectionery that can be repeatedly drawn by only drawing by both hands to at least 0.3 m of a length of a thin string-like or filamentous shape after a work such as kneading by hands, and further that has a digital compression deformation property excellent in workability because there are not stickiness and lowering of plasticity when kneading or drawing.SOLUTION: There is provided a stretchy chewing gum that has physical properties in which drawing can be performed to a thin string-like shape through kneading by hands. The stretchy chewing gum includes a gum base, saccharide, 0.2-1.0 wt.% of propylene glycol diacetate, and/or triacetin. Further, the stretchy chewing gum includes one or two or more kinds of a starch syrup including a sugar derivative of trehalose, an acid saccharification starch syrup, and an enzymatic saccharification starch syrup or further includes gelatin.
