Disclosed are a preS1 protein with cut terminal end of hepatitis B virus (HBV), an HBV gene including nucleotide sequence encoding the protein, and a use thereof. The preS1 protein with cut terminal end inhibits reproduction of HBV, thereby being useful for screening candidate materials for HBV infection treatment, targeting the hepatitis B virus. In addition, the preS1 protein of the present invention can be used in an investigation on mechanism of deterioration inducement in liver disorder, associated with production and reproduction of other HBV virions.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016B형 간염 바이러스(Hepatitis B virus)의 끝이 잘린 preS1 단백질, 상기 단백질을 코딩하는 뉴클레오티드 서열을 포함하는 HBV 유전자 및 그 용도가 제시되어 있다. 본 발명의 끝이 잘린 pre S1 단백질은 HBV 복제를 저해하므로, B형 간염 바이러스를 타겟으로 하는 HBV 감염 치료용 후보 물질을 스크리닝하는데 유용하며, 기타 HBV 바이리온 형성 및 복제와 관련된 간질환의 악화 유도 기전의 연구에도 사용될 수 있다.
