A method and system of controlling a target species using a first ROV (fig 2) and second ROV (fig 6) comprising maneuvering a probe 25 attached to the first ROV to be positioned around the body of an individual of a target species, deploying a high tensile voltage between the terminals 26 of the probe to stun and or kill the target species and using a capturing arrangement 31 attached to the second ROV to guide, direct or move the stunned or killed individual into a storage container 34 attached to the second ROV. The ROVs are controlled via a tether by an operator in a surface vessel.
