PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing spinning reel highly accurately maintaining an engagement condition between a drive gear and a pinion gear, enhancing rigidity of a reel body, attaining dust prevention and water proof of a side opening part and a lid member, and inhibiting risk of line entanglement.SOLUTION: A fishing spinning reel is provided with a lid member 30 blocking a side part opening part 13 mounted on the side part of a body 10, and rotatably supporting a handle shaft 5 by at least the lid member 30. The side opening part 13 and the lid member 30 are formed in circular shapes.
