The present invention relates to a method for processing an X-ray image, capable of obtaining an intra oral image from a panorama image through an image processing apparatus, which includes the steps of: displaying an operation screen with the panorama image on a display unit； displaying at least one intra oral cell constituting a selected layout to be overlapped on the panorama image, when one among a plurality of previously stored intra oral layouts is selected； extracting and displaying the area of the panorama image which is designated by the intra oral cell； and storing the extracted area in a storage unit as the intra oral image.본 발명은 영상 처리 장치를 통해 파노라마 영상으로부터 인트라오럴 영상을 획득하는 X선 영상 처리 방법에 있어서, 표시수단에 상기 파노라마 영상이 나타난 작업화면을 표시하는 단계와； 기 저장된 다수의 인트라오럴 레이아웃들 중 하나가 사용자에 의해 선택되면, 상기 선택된 레이아웃을 구성하는 적어도 하나의 인트라오럴 셀을 상기 파노라마 영상에 중첩하여 표시하는 단계와； 상기 인트라오럴 셀에 의해 지정된 상기 파노라마 영상의 영역을 추출하여 표시하는 단계와； 상기 추출된 영역을 인트라오럴 영상으로 저장수단에 저장하는 단계를 포함하는 X선 영상 처리 방법을 제공한다.
