PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoacoustic probe in which a portion of a light emission part susceptible to damage is replaceable while preventing contamination of a foreign matter and the like.SOLUTION: An acoustic wave detector 24 detects an acoustic wave. A first light guide member 21 and a second light guide member 23 that constitute a light emission part are arranged in series with respect to a light traveling direction. A frame body 11 holds the first light guide member 21, the second light guide member 23, and the acoustic wave detector 24. The first light guide member 21 being at a subject side is fixed to the frame body 11 so as to be undetachable.
