The present invention provides a topical anti-arthritis and anti-paralytic herbal basedcomposition and process for the preparation thereof. The composition comprises essentially extracts of plant parts of Table 1, and optionally extracts from plant parts of Table 2. Topical application of the composition of the invention results in reportedgain in increase in range of motion, reduction in pain and swelling of joints in arthritic patients.
