A seed sensor (500) includes a housing (518). An internal seed channel (522) defines a path for seeds to flow along a central axis (As) through the seed sensor. A sensor unit (520) is positioned alongside the internal seed channel within the housing. An inlet end (501) of the seed sensor includes a tapered inlet section (548). The housing includes a mounting loop (530) having a pair of oppositely angled surfaces (534) for mounting the seed sensor in a pair of oppositely angled configurations.
