PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure band for measuring blood pressure, which has sufficient fitting property with respect to various pressurized regions which are different in shape for each person to be measured.SOLUTION: A sheet-like core member 68 is constituted of a uniaxially stretched synthetic resin sheet having plasticity to be plastically deformable in bending in a longitudinal direction. Thus, even when the thickness of an upper arm in a living body, around which the pressure band is wound in measuring blood pressure, is changed in the longitudinal direction and is not uniform, the sheet shape core member 68 is plastically deformed along the shape of the upper arm when the member 68 is bent in the longitudinal direction, so that the pressure band is sufficiently fitted to both the large and small diameter parts of the pressurized regions.
