PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elliptical external venous support for venous valve repair.SOLUTION: An elliptical external venous support for venous valve repair includes a cylindrical channel mesh shell. The cylindrical channel mesh shell has an oval cross sectional surface, is provided as one part (1), is laterally open (g), corresponds to at least the cross sectional surface of the support at both sides of the edge parts opposite to the main axis of the support, and includes fixing means (101, 101, 101 103 103, 103).
