An adjustable chair assembly comprising a frame, a seat assembly, a backassembly and at least one of a seat space-filling element and a back space-fillingelement. The seat assembly extends along a seat plane and comprises a firstseatelement and a second seat element adjustably positionable with respect to oneanother along the seat plane and together defining a support surface of theseatassembly. The back assembly extends along a back plane and comprises a firstback element and a second back element adjustably positionable with respect toone another along the back plane and together defining a support surface oftheback assembly.
