A medicated inhalant dispenser (1) has a plastics material body (2) having amouthpiece (3). A pressurised, inhalant source (4) has a canister (5) and aspout (6), which is moved towards the canister for release of a dose from thecanister. The spout is accommodated in a junction member (7), which is movableby a cam (8) connected to a pivotal cover (9) for the mouthpiece. Opening ofthe cover sets a breath actuable kink valve (10), having a nozzle (11) throughwhich the inhalant is released and a breath flap (12) actuation. Opening alsocauses the junction member to be lifted for dose dispensing into the kinkvalve. Breathing in releases the dose for inhalation. A closed sleeve (20) isprovided for abutment of the end (21) of the canister as the junction memberis moved towards the canister. Between the canister end (21) and an end (22)of the closed sleeve, an adjustable abutment (23) is provided. The closedsleeve is welded onto the body. The abutment or end location (23) is sized toprovide that the source is supported in its correct position for opening ofits valve on operation of the cam mechanism (8).
