PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft capsule film of which the aging is reduced and which can be molded in good moldability while using a pea starch having a high proportion of amylose as a raw material.SOLUTION: The soft capsule film includes an acid-treated hydroxypropylated pea starch, a gelling agent and a plasticizer. Preferably, the gelling agent is iota carrageenan and 25-33 pts.wt. of the gelling agent can be contained in 100 pts.wt. of the acid-treated hydroxypropylated pea starch.
