Disclosed herein is a composition for removing odor, the composition including cucurbituril. The composition can capture and remove various kinds of odor materials (particularly, ammonium ion-containing bad odor, such as a fishy smell or the like) because cucurbituril can interact with various odor materials using its hydrophobic cavity and both inlets covered with carbonyl groups. Therefore, this composition can be practically applied to the cleaning of air and the improvement of an environment.Linvention concerne une composition pour éliminer une odeur, la composition comprenant du cucurbituril. La composition peut capturer et éliminer divers types de matières dodeur (en particulier, une mauvaise odeur contenant un ion ammonium, telle quune odeur de poisson ou analogue) car le cucurbituril peut interagir avec diverses matières dodeur au moyen de sa cavité hydrophobe et des deux entrées recouvertes de groupes carbonyle. Par conséquent, cette composition peut être pratiquement appliquée à lépuration de lair et à lamélioration dun environnement.
