PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize images of breasts photographed in the prone position.

SOLUTION: A breast model which is a physics model of a breast shape having soft tissues like fat and hard tissues like tumors is created from the images of the breasts photographed in the prone position by using coils dedicated to mammary glands. Then, the breast shape is simulated by applying the breast model to the breast image photographed in the spine position during a treatment. Pixels of the image of the prone position photographed by using the coils dedicated to mammary glands are mapped relative to the simulated image of the spine position to synthesize. Consequently, the breast shape and the tumors in the spine position are presented in the image of the sharp quality photographed by using the coils dedicated to mammary glands.
