An aerosol generator comprising a body, a mouthpiece on the body and a delivery mechanism delivers aerosol for inhalation by a consumer into the mouthpiece by turning the mouthpiece and body relative to one another. The aerosol is generated from liquid dispensed from a canister having a discharge tube depressible inwardly to open an interior valve.
