PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indwelling needle assembly which reliably achieves prevention of leakage of blood through an outer needle and protection of a needle point of an inner needle removed from the outer needle without an increase in size of the entire assembly.

SOLUTION: An inner needle hub 12 and an outer needle hub 16 are mutually assembled by inserting the front end 38 of the inner needle hub 12 having the front end from which the inner needle 11 extends into the opening 40 of the base end side of the outer needle hub 16 having a front end from which the outer needle 14 extends, and by inserting the inner needle 10 through the outer needle 14. In addition, a needle point protector 78 for protecting a needle point 18 of the inner needle 10 is housed in a housing tube 34 provided in a part of the front end side of the inner needle hub 12. Further, a hemostasis valve 76 for preventing the leakage of the blood through the outer needle 14 is housed and disposed in the housing 54 of the outer needle hub 16.
