Culinary-herb shears attachment for receiving cut-off culinary herbs as cut material, in which two container parts are provided, wherein at least one of the container parts is designed with a trough-shaped receiving compartment, and wherein a first container part can be fastened to a first cutting blade of a household shears and a second container part can be fastened to a second cutting blade of the household shears and, upon closing the household shears, the two container parts form a receiving container for the cut material. The second container part can be fastened to the upper side of the first cutting blade, and the first container part can be fastened to the underside of the second cutting blade. In the closed state of the household shears, the two container parts can form a receiving container which is closed at the container periphery and at least one container end side, wherein the container parts can be released from the household shears individually or jointly as a vessel for transporting the cut
