PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microneedle array capable of achieving high drug efficacy by improving transfer of medication into a blood in the microneedle array comprising a sheet part and needle parts.SOLUTION: The microneedle array includes a sheet part 116, and a plurality of needle parts 112A and 112B that are present on the upper face of the sheet part 116. The needle part includes a water-soluble polymer and medication, while the sheet part 116 includes a water-soluble polymer, and the microneedle array administers the medication by satisfying: 20 μm≤L2≤L-L1. L represents the length of the needle parts 112A and 112B, and L1 represents the length from a needle part distal end 112A, where a needle-part distal area includes 90% of the whole medication in the microneedle array.
