Eine Vorrichtung für die Videoendoskopie, insbesondere für die industrielle Videoendoskopie, weist ein Geräteteil (12) auf, das ein Gehäuse (20) und eine in dem Gehäuse (20) angeordnete Elektronikbauteilanordnung (28) aufweist. Die Elektronikbauteilanordnung (28) ist innerhalb eines abgedichteten Bereichs (30) in dem Gehäuse (20) angeordnet. In dem Gehäuse (20) ist ein Kühlkörper (32) angeordnet, der mit der Elektronikbauteilanordnung (28) thermisch gekoppelt ist, um Wärme von der Elektronikbauteilanordnung (28) aufzunehmen. In dem Gehäuse (20) ist ein Lüfter (34) zum Erzeugen eines Luftstromes (42) aus Umgebungsluft angeordnet, der entlang des Kühlkörpers (32) zum Abführen der Wärme von dem Kühlkörper (32) aus dem Gehäuse (20) heraus strömt, wobei der Luftstrom (42) mit der Elektronikbauteilanordnung (28) nicht in Berührung kommt.
