PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly tasty packaged carbonated beverage suppressed in blowing when producing a carbonated beverage or opening a tap for drinking, having smooth bubbles hard to disappear even when suppressing blowing, and retaining bubble popping feeling of excellent quality, and to provide a method for producing the beverage.SOLUTION: This highly tasty packaged carbonated beverage which is suppressed in blowing when producing a carbonated beverage or opening a tap for drinking, and retains bubble popping feeling is produced by using together and adding 0.000005-0.001 wt.% antifoaming agent and 0.01-0.5 wt.% foaming agent based on the total amount of the beverage to a carbonated beverage raw material when producing the carbonated beverage by forcedly feeding carbon dioxide gas.The packaged carbonated beverage contains the foaming agent comprising octenyl succinate starch and/or saponin, and the antifoaming agent comprising silicone oil, glycerine fatty acid ester and/or sorbitan fatty acid ester, and a fat composition of the fatty acid ester.
