PURPOSE: An automatic onion peeling apparatus capable of obtaining a compact structure is provided to automatically cut the stalk and root of onion, and to prevent the damage on the onion. CONSTITUTION: An automatic onion peeling apparatus comprises the following: a main body unit(10) including plural mounting holes(11) for mounting onion, and a turn-table(15) rotating by a motor； a cutting unit(20) cutting upper and lower sides of the onion； a scratch unit(30) forming cuts on the outer skin of the onion； a peeling unit(40) including an air spraying nozzle(45) for peeling the outer skin of the onion； a discharging unit(50) including a shoot(51) for discharging the onion； a fixing cylinder(21) pressing and supporting the upper and lower sides of the onion； cutting blades cutting the upper and lower sides of the onion ； a cutting cylinder(22) transferring the torque to the cutting blades； an ascending cylinder separating the onion from the turn-table； a fixing rod(32) pressing and supporting the onion； fingers(33) including blade rollers(35)； and a descending cylinder(34) descending the fingers for cutting the outer skin of the onion.본 발명은 양파(1)의 외피를 연속 공정에 의해 자동으로 탈피하는 장치에 관련되며, 본체부(10), 절단부(20), 스크래치부(30), 탈피부(40), 배출부(50)를 주요 구성으로 한다. 본체부(10)는 상기 양파(1)를 거치하는 다수의 안착구(11)를 구비하고, 모터에 의해 순차회전하는 턴테이블(15)을 구비한다. 절단부(20)는 상기 턴테이블(15)의 안착구(11) 상에 배치하고, 양파(1)의 상ㆍ하단부를 절단하는 커터날(25)을 구비한다. 스크래치부(30)는 상기 절단부(20)의 일측에 배치하고, 양파(1)의 외피에 칼집을 형성하는 칼날롤러(35)를 구비한다. 탈피부(40)는 상기 스크래치부(30)의 일측에 배치하고, 양파(1)의 외피를 탈피하는 분사노즐(41)을 구비한다. 배출부(50)는 상기 탈피부(40)의 일측에 배치하고, 양파(1)를 외부로 배출하는 슈트(51)를 구비한다.이에 따라 본 발명은, 절단부와 스크래치부를 통하여 양파의 외피를 신속하고 정확하게 탈피가 가능하면서 탈피에 필요한 양파의 꼭지부와 뿌리부를 자동으로 절단하여 안전성과 작업성이 상승될 뿐만 아니라 에어를 통하여 외피를 탈피함에 따라 양파의 손상을 억제하여 품질의 저하를 방지하고 특히, 공간 활용을 극대화할 수 있는 턴테이블 구조로 형성하여 전반적으로 컴팩트한 장치를 구현할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
