When a quiet environment is required, for example, when a user is sleeping, discharge sound during generation of ions cannot be felt. When a light is switched on, if the user starts a timer, an ion generator stops working. As the ion generator does not generate ions, discharge sound cannot be generated, thereby achieving the quiet environment. After a setting time of the timer is achieved, the light is switched off and the ion generator begins to work again to generate ions.
