The pick-up device includes a pressing device (5) with at least one cylindrical pressing chamber housing to make bales from the material gathered up in the collecting device. The pressing device has an upper part with several pressing rollers (6) with at least two intake gaps (7) inbetween and a lower part with conveyor elements (9). Independent claim describes pressing device with pressing rollers and intake gaps inbetween.
