PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus imaging or visualizing stably moving muscles by moving the muscles irrelevant to the intention of a subject.SOLUTION: A positive electrode and a negative electrode receiving application of low-frequency pulse and giving an electric stimulus to a living body are disposed on an ultrasonic probe in the both side of a head to be an ultrasonic transmitting/receiving face. This apparatus applies the pulse to the electrode pair to electrically stimulate the living body and captures the image of the electrically stimulated living body based on the transmitting/receiving ultrasonic waves. This apparatus measures a value indicating a strain of the living body due to the electric stimulation based on the ultrasonic image of the electrically stimulated living body.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】筋肉を被検体の意識とは関係なく運動させることで、安定的に運動する筋肉を画像化又は映像化する超音波診断装置を提供する。【解決手段】超音波プローブに、低周波のパルスが印加されて生体に電気刺激を与える正電極及び負電極を、超音波の送受波面となるヘッドを挟んで配する。電極対にパルスを印加して生体を電気刺激しつつ、超音波の送受波に基づき、この電気刺激された生体の画像を撮影する。そして、電気刺激された生体の超音波画像に基づき、電気刺激による生体の歪みを示す値を計測する。【選択図】図1
