Compositions for treating a biofilm comprising viable microorganisms are provided. The compositions include a suspending medium, a bioactive glass comprising B2O3, and an effective amount of an antimicrobial compound selected from the group consisting of antimicrobial biguanide, quaternary ammonium compound, silver or copper deposited as a coating on the surface of the bioactive glass, and antimicrobial lipid component. Methods of treating a biofilm or a surface with the compositions are also provided.L'invention concerne des compositions de traitement d'un biofilm comprenant des micro-organismes viables.
