A portable force feedback controller (PFFC) designed to be worn on the user''s arm tracks movement of the user''s arm and provides force feedback capability. In some embodiments, the PFFC can include interchangeable modules that can be quickly and easily connected and disconnected, so that the PFFC can be easily modified for a particular application.
