PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus capable of predicting information useful for suppressing influence on an inspection result due to temporal change in a temperature of a gradient field coil.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus 100 includes a gradient magnetic field coil 2 and a prediction part. The gradient magnetic field coil 2 applies a gradient magnetic field to the inside of a static magnetic field where a subject S is placed.
