PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smart connector for gas sampling.SOLUTION: A connector includes a memory configured to store data. The connector further includes a first portion configured to connect to a ground connection in a gas sampling monitor. The connector further includes a second portion configured to connect to a positive connection in the gas sampling monitor. The second portion is configured to communicate data to and from the memory.
