PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drink composition derived from persimmon, which works with a good balance of quick and delayed action by being easily drunk before a meal for preventive purpose, suppresses the shift of monosaccharides into the blood, and promotes the secretion of insulin, as well as having a function to decrease blood glucose level.SOLUTION: A drink composition comprises a hot water extract of persimmon leaf and a high molecular weight of persimmon tannin extracted from persimmon fruit, and contains 10,000 molecular weight or less of polyphenol extract contained in the hot water extract derived from persimmon leaf and 10,000 molecular weight or more of the persimmon tannin extracted from persimmon fruit. It is found out that drinking the drink composition before a meal provides an effect of suppressing increase of postprandial blood glucose level and a delayed effect of rapidly decreasing the blood glucose level even after the blood glucose level has increased and reached the peak.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】予防的に食前に手軽に飲用することで速効性と遅効性とのバランス良く機能し、血中への単糖類の移行を押さえかつインスリンの分泌を促進し血糖値を低下させる機能を併せて備えた柿由来飲料組成物を提供すること。【解決手段】柿葉の熱水抽出物及び柿果実より採取して成る高分子量柿タンニンを含む飲料組成物で柿葉由来の熱水抽出物に含まれる分子量10,000以下より成るポリフェノール抽出物と柿果実より採取して成る分子量10,000以上より成る柿タンニンを含有させた組成物を食前に飲用することで食後の血糖値上昇が抑制される効果と共に血糖値が上昇してピークに達した後も速やかな血糖値低下を遅効的にもたらす働きをもつことを見出して本発明を完成した。【選択図】 なし
