PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability by reducing vertical vibration caused by the reciprocating motion of a piston and intercepting noise caused by the combustion of an engine, in an engine-type bush cutter.SOLUTION: A tubular cover 5, which has an axial line in the longitudinal direction, is provided to surround the whole of the engine 10 being the power source of a hand-held type bush cutter, and inside the cover 5, the engine 10 is held with a plurality of vibration control devices 30. The inner space behind the cylinder in the cover 5 is demarcated by a partition plate 40, and the demarcated underside is used as a space for suction of air and the upper side is used as a space for discharge of air and exhaust gas. A muffler 16 is provided in the upper space for exhaust. The vibration control device 30 is constituted mainly of a spring 31, and is fixed by a bolt 36 and a spring holder 32.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】エンジン式の刈払機において、ピストンの往復運動によって発生する上下振動を低減させるとともに、エンジンの燃焼によって発生する騒音を遮断し作業性を向上させる。【解決手段】手持ち式の刈払機の動力源たるエンジン10の全体を取り囲むように前後方向に軸線を有する筒状のカバー5を設け、カバー5の内部においてエンジン10を複数の防振装置30によって保持するようにした。カバー5内の前記シリンダ後方側の内部空間は、仕切り板40によって区画され、区画された下方が空気の吸引用空間で、上側が空気及び排気ガスの排出用空間として用いられる。マフラー16は上側の排気用空間に設けられる。防振装置30は主にスプリング31に構成され、ボルト36とスプリングホルダ32によって固定される。【選択図】図3
