To provide an absorbent article capable of reducing rubbing between the absorbent article and a skin of a wearer.SOLUTION: An absorbent article in one embodiment includes a body, and a pair of wing parts. The body includes a front core part and a rear core part having a longitudinal direction and a width direction, and positioned at both end sides in the longitudinal direction, an absorbent core positioned between the front core part and the rear core part, and having an intermediate core part facing an excretion part of a wearer, and a plurality of sheet materials. The pair of wing parts is arranged at the outside in the width direction of the intermediate core part, and faces each other in the width direction across the body. The intermediate core part is narrower in the width direction than the front core part and the rear core part, and is formed between a pair of constricted areas positioned on an intermediate part in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent core.
