PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods for improving the production efficiency of Cryptomeria japonica cutting seedling in order to equalize cutting and planting works, in a mass production of Cryptomeria japonica cutting seedlings.SOLUTION: A production method of Cryptomeria japonica seedlings comprises planting Cryptomeria japonica ears into a container, subsequently raising them in a thermoregulated facility, and using them as Cryptomeria japonica seedlings the Cryptomeria japonica ears being subjected to low temperature treatment before cutting, subsequently cutting it in December to February, and then planting it into a container after subjecting the cut Cryptomeria japonica ears to low temperature treatment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
